What is the scoop on IP accounting, and what is the best way to utilize it?
Thanks in advance.

I assume that you are talking about Interface IP accounting?
If so, remember that it is very CPU intensive, so best only to configure on one interface at a time.
It isn't all that flexible, just allowing the accounting of outbound packets on an interface logging the source IP, dest IP, number of pckts and the length of the transmission in bytes.

Yes, I believe that's what I mean. I heard it is for testing routing to see what packets are going through, and what packets are getting dropped. Is this good for troubleshooting new routes on a router? And if so, what i sthe best way to utilize it?
Thx.
