Is there any CLI command to get the cisco router's past port status

I want to get port status of my 7200 router which was accidently failed. But the router is now on working condition

AFAIK, the only way to get the reason for the failure is to check the router log or possibly a network management system if you have that configured. If you have reboot the router, the log will have disappeared and cannot be retrieved.
