I am using IOS :c3660-is-mz.122-2.XK.bin in a cisco 3661 and want to download via TFTP the image c3660-is-mz.122-10.bin. After sending copy tftp command, give remote IP address, source file name and destination file name, the tftp window I opened is closed with a message that there was an error and in the telnet connection I receive a message that the file is an invalid executable file for the unit.

After that, the operation is aborted.

Is there any issue with the IOS I have to proceed with tftp downloads?

I need to download via TFTP because cannot suspend srvice for around 4 hours if I do it via x modem.

This is my show ver:

Have you tried renaming the file, also make sure your outbound path is setup

correctly.
