Hi, I would like to have ISDN switching function in my cisco lab to do experiments, because I do not want to subscribe ISDN lines from the telecom, so I want to know beside buy second-hand ISDN switch, is there any other ways to simulate an ISDN switch?
Thanks a lot!!!

There are ways to get a 3600 router to do ISDN switching, you can use something like an Adtran 550 or 830, or you can use an ISDN simulator.
You may be able to find an ISDN sim on Ebay, but they're still "not cheap" but usually cheaper than a 3600, or either of the Adtran devices.
If you get an ISDN sim, make sure you know which interface the sim will do, some are ST only, some are U only.
Good Luck

You can try getting an ISDN simulator from ebay. The following costs abt 1000 dollars, at ebay (used ones).
http://www.teltone.com/telecom_solutions/test_tools/test_home.html
The unit comes with a GUI based configuration utility, to set the switch type.
OR you could buy an Atlas 550, which is quiet expensive....atleast 4 to 5k dollars..The Atlas can be used as a Frame-relay simulator also.
