I am having issues connecting to my new 3548xl switch. the java authentication box pops up every minute. i am running sun java 1.3.1_01

Try to downgrade to 1.3.0.

1.3.1 is not supported by Cisco.

I'm using Sun 1.3.0 international edition with no problem (I'm running Windows2000 Czech edition on my PC).
