L2TP Dialup with DHCP Server

Can a dialup user which is using an l2tp connection give during the initial (setup) phase his computername with the request. The reason for this is, that the dhcp server has in his lease database the name of the user (pc) and not the name of the router which is sending the dhcp request.

We need this option for windows 2000 and the Qip Dynamic DNS Server.

The hostname should be the host that’s requesting the lease. The router should only request the lease for its own interface, not proxy for another host. Perhaps I’m confused about your question.
