Hello everyone,
I'm french student in Technical Institute Diploma and i have buy a Cisco Lab to prepare my CCNA.
I've recovered an old terminal access server (Intel ShivaPort atom) and i try to use it with Cisco catalyst 2950 to configure it remotely without connect and disconnect console cable.
He successfully receives characters from the server but my server don't receive the response from the switch.
I suppose that terminal server and Cisco switch doesn't have the same voltage to communicate with serial connection.
My question is : "What is the voltage level with console port for the serial communication ?"
