I'm trying to understand in a VoIP situation over a WAN link whether you'd use LFI with FRF.12 or limit the frame size using MTU? The link is over frame relay. Anyone any thoughts?
LFI with FRF.12 might be a better choice, as lowering the MTU will increase the header overhead by extra 20 bytes for every IP fragment, whereas the overhead due to LFI may not be that much.
