Hi All
Is it advisable to turn off console logging on all switches, MSFC and Routers. Also for the logging, I have a syslog server. How can I send all my emmergency, alerts, critical, errors and warning to my syslog server and thereby to myself.
There are so many messages I see in the devices but I need to receive emails about them.
Thanks

It is best practice to turn off (or down/default is debugging level) logging to the console of any device and only turn on when needed.
To get your logs sent to syslog the command "logging x.x.x.x" will send syslogs to your syslog facility.
Hope this helps you,
Don
