MC3810V connection to T1 problem

I'm trying to help a non-profit org that has gotten a MC3810V from a donation and needs to set it up for their T1. The 3810 has only the T1 controller, a Serial 0 and 1, an Ethernet, and the internal switch. The T1 is a frame relay circuit with DLCI 16.

I have the IP addresses for the upstream router and the one for my interface but I'm unable to get it going. I don't know how to correctly set up the serial 0 to talk via the t1 controller. Any help would be appreciated. I feel close to the non-profit org because we adopted our boy through them.
