Howdy,
I'd like to use some mode conditioning cables so that I can run my long multimode runs at 1G. For GBIC's, I think I'm okay, since that cable, CAB-GELX-625, is duplex (contains strands for both receive and transmit). However, for SFP's I think I might have an issue. That cable is CAB-MCP-LC=, which appears to be single-stranded, for the TX connection only. Do I have this wrong, and if I am correct, does Cisco have a part number for the LC-LC MMF single strand that pairs with the CAB-MCP-LC= cable?
Thanks in advance,
Steve Scheider
