Our Subscription said that our modem is in plug and play (static) - If I will connect modem connected directly to PC in DHCP mode, but no access to the internet (unidentified)
But if the modem will connect to the router first going to Devices, there is internet.. with the gateway of 192.168.1.1=router's IP address.
The reason why we want Modem to be detected is because we want our company to implement a Firewall.. (Modem - Firewall - Switch or Router)
Our modem is CISCO DPC2100R3 - IP Address is in Class C
Our public IP is Class A
My question is - If I will implement this Firewall (pfSense) what will be the WAN IP and LAN IP? thanks in advance
