I have two routers A and B connected by serial interface. A and B has users who are mobile and move between lans...When users move, their TCP IP settings shudnt be changed.....A and B shud be configured to reflect this...

All helps are welcome.

Hi.

You can bridge between segments if you have a single subnet or if you want something more interesting you can try mobile IP...

Well Well...Much more simpler than mobile IP would be Mobile ARP or LAM...Local access mobility is working really cool for this situation.

Thanks

Thanks This may help a situation I am in. We have an outsourced network to ATT and outsourced servers to IBM . This creates a big problem when we have to move Manufacturing Lines between building that require specific IP addresses on Risc6000 or AS/4000 servers.

This feature may help me temporary move my printers without changing ip addresses that will take days - weeks for IBM to correct

Hi.

This is really cool. I didn't know this.

Thanks Shanky.
