Moving connections from a 7507 Router to a 6509 Switch

I want to move a link from a 7507 to a 6509 with MFSC's installed. We will be moving to a fiber link with LuxN equipment from a T-1. Will the MFSC handle the routing like the 7507? Will my VLans behind the remote router stay intact? To put it simply, will this work? I would appreciate any advice.

Yes. 6500 has internal MLS in sup1 and CEF in sup2 which gives you very good performance gains.
