MSFC Problem

We have "n" number of 6509's in our network embedded with two MSFC2's.Problem is not able to reach sess 15 in one of the 6509 MSFC2.Gonethrough some workaround exercise by resetting system , resetting mod 15, dosen't help , It come online for few mts and going back to the same stage. If we see " sh mod status , I could see it as "other" status.

versions:

HW : 1.2

FW : 12.1(8b)E1

SW : 12.1(8b)E10

model: WS-F6K-MSFC2

conf reg: 0x102

Please advice me how to overcome this problem.

Hi,

Console into the MSFC using the "switch console " command, you will then be able to find out why the MSFC is stuck in the "other" state.
