we have one ISDN PRI Line along with 2 channelised E1 circuits for lease line connectivity. We use the ISDN PRI line for intracity connectivity with ISDN BRI at the remote end. 99% of the remote branches using ISDN use either cisco 803 or 700 router for connectivity to our main 3660 router where all the lines are terminated. We have to use multicast extensively for one of our application. All the cisco routers are configured for Multicast pim-sparse-dense mode. Multicast application is working perfectly in the cisco routers.
We have some motorolla Vanguard 320 routers which we need to be configured for multicast and to interact with 3661 in the PRI line. We were unable to do so after trying in a various of ways. It supports DVMRP and we tried to configure it....but no result. Multicast is not showing alive in the nodes. neither mrinfo or mtrace is working when we tried to test the connectivity from cisco 3661 to motorolla. Although unicast is working. but no multicast packet is going at all to motorolla.
