need help for WS-C3508G-XL-EN password recovery

hello to everyone

I need help to recover passwords and / or to reset my WS-C3508G-XL-EN switch back to factory settings, erasing all settings and vlans every possible thinng........I have visited Cisco website and have read the pdf file "pswdrec_2900xl, Document ID: 12040 " BUT it says not much about passwords becase I cannot get inside the router ............. please help me

The document is fairly generic. While you can't "recover" the password, you can get into enable mode and overwrite the the unknown passwords. See steps 12 thru 14 in the document.

Your first step is to have physcial access to the device itself via the console with the proper cable and a terminal emulation program.
