By default, system logging messages are sent to console and Telnet sessions based on the default logging facility and severity values. If desired, you can disable logging to the console or logging to a given Telnet session.To configure Cisco Devices for Syslog messages, use the following commands
Router(config)# logging on(To make sure logging is enabled)
To specify that the terminal server should receive the router syslog messages, use the logging command, where ip_address is the IP address of the server.
