NetFlow command not available for Nexus7K F2 series interfaces?

Nexus7009 switches have Sup2 and F2 series 10G 48-port Ethernet modules, running NX-OS 6.1.2. When I tried to apply flow monitor to the interfaces from the F2 series modules, "ip flow monitor" command was not even available under interface config mode. Cisco config guide doesn't have any statements about the command only available in certain NX-OS releases or certain types of modules.

Has anyone seen this before? Is OS upgrade a solution to this?

Hi, you have latest version installed.

According to this link:

"The Cisco NX-OS implementation of  NetFlow supports NetFlow Versions 5 and 9 exports as well as the  Flexible NetFlow configuration model. Cisco Nexus 7000 M-Series modules  support Full NetFlow and Sampled NetFlow. Cisco Nexus 7000 F2-Series  modules will support Sampled NetFlow in NX-OS release 6.1.2."
