Hello ,

Is there a nexus switch of 24 ports where the ports are SFP based (1 gig /10Gig/40Gig). I need a mix of copper(RJ45) and Fiber ports.

Then to populate the switch , I just need to buy the correct SFP(copper RJ45 or Fiber).

Can you please advise on a model.

I’ve seen fiber nexus switches , but it’s a bit confusing.

I haven't actually used these platforms but it looks like a good fit too. I checked and it should work with copper gig SFPs too. Your original post said a 24 port switch, but if you are good with the 48, then it should fit the bill.

I haven't used them, but it looks like the Nexus 3524 comes close to what you want. It supports 1/10G and 1G in both fiber and copper. It will also do 40G, but requires using 4 sequential 10G interfaces with a special transceiver.

Below is a link that provides the info as well as the compatible SFPs.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Cisco ACI and VXLAN is required.
What do you think of this one? Cisco Nexus 93180YC-EX Switch
