Hi, I am going to install some NM-AIC-64 on 3640 routers..I would like to test the alarm collect on our LAB before installing on customer site.
Really the operational mode of this NM-AIC-64 and AIC-SGL-PNL patch panel is not very clear for me..
How could I test the right working for the patch panel only having the 50 pins TELCO cable (could I link some pins in order to simulate a alarm on NM-AIC-64).
Is there any CISCO equipment who can be connected to 1 of the eight analog ports in order to have some power alarms ..
As you can see I am a little be confuse with this matter..any help would be appreciated.
Regards

Hi, thanks for links provided but really this is not my proble.
I am looking for some way to test the alarm module without having real alarms reported (on customer site)..Does anyone know if this test would be possible only having patch pannel and NM-AIC64 (nor MDF pannel neither real equipment monitored).
Regards and thanks in advance.
