No output for show running-config

When you do a show run, it doesn't display any output. When you do a sh config, it shows. You make a change to config, and do a wr mem, the change can be seen in sho config. But show run gives no output.

I have seen some bugs which says in low memory condition this problem could occur. This switch however doesn't have a high mem utilization.

Irrespective of mem utilization, you need to have atleast 8MB of memory. Apart from bugs on less memory, I guess there should be no other problem.

is there any difference using sh run and write term commands?

From console or Telnet session?

Have you reloaded the switch?
