The company I am working with owns a LS1010 switch. Currently, PVCs are delivered via OC-3 to one physical port on the LS1010. It is then switched to the ATM interface that's connected to a Cisco 7206. The service provider decided to install another pair of fiber to a differnt CO for physical link redundancy, however, it is not delivering new PVCs on the new OC-3. How can I "bind" those two physical interfaces on an LS1010 to create an equvalient of FEC on a switch? In other words, when I configure ATM PVC switching, is there a way I can switch to a logical interface that's serviced by two physical ATM interfaces?
I ran into a command "atm interface-group" that might do it, but I am not if it will work right.
