Plugging Cisco 2950/24s into 3COM Corebuilder 3500

What port settings should Iuse ona Cisco 2950 or 2924 switch series if I want to plug in into a 3COM Corebuilder 3500 with ethernet ports?

The 3COMs dont have any trunks defined. We have triedthis, only to have the 3COMs blip out for a second or two and then close down the port?

Make sure that the connection uses a crossover cable. Also, make sure that if you are trunking that you are using 802.1Q trunks on both sides. Let us know how this turns out.
