Port 445

dear all

after write the netstat -n command on my PCs

I found thant there are alot of session open port 445

I chek what this port for .

it is for (Microsoft-DS)

I do not know what this port use for and how can I stop open this session

Althouge I close the browser and the download and all net program but there are sessions opend with port 445

????

My main problem is slow download

I have an ADSL 512kbit and I download on 5KB/s

Hello,

there are many possibilities for this reason!

but take a look on the connections on port 445,

usually port 445 is used from Windows 2000/XP/2003

SMB over TCP for Windows fielsharing, but it's also possible, that you have a worm on your PC!!!
