port forwarding with 677 DSL router

I have a client that can only get a dynamic IP from their provider with a 677 router. Can I enable port forwarding if it obtains the public IP from their DSL provider? I plan to get in using DNS2go which updates the changing public IP.

Can I port forward a dynamically changing public address to a private address? If so, what are the command lines?

Since there has been no response to your post, it appears to be either too complex or too rare an issue for other forum members to assist you. Hi Mark,

I have experience with these things and, despite not using them in this scenario I would still say no!! I'd say you definitely need a fixed IP. I would also upgrade to an 827 as they run full IOS and not CBOS which, as I'm sure you know, is basic in comparison. Also the 677 is EOL and ( if I recall correctly) is only software supported for 1 more year - or thereabouts. We are using IPCP as well but for extranet purposes - anything such as you are trying is fixed IP.
