My customer said me about an problem which has appeared.
If he connect the workstations on Catalyst 3548 on ports from 43 to 48 , the switch doesn't learn mac-address on table and obviously the workstations doesn't contact DHCP server to works in order.
The port goes in line up and protocol up , without CRC or collisions but it
increas overrun end ignored.
If he connect the workstation on port from 1 to 42 all it works in order.
Why can it happen?
Does somebody explain about?
