Anyone using Cisco's "Private Vlan" feature? Looking for more details? Why would you use Private vlans vs regular vlans? What benefits?
thanks again!!

Typical application would be on a DMZ segment, where you wanted to prevent traffic between servers. Details are available at:

From reading this document, it appears I could also use PVLANs on a regular segment where I would want to protect a server or even one to several users on the same vlan. It looks like each PVLAN is it's own broadcast domain within a vlan and protected from ALL other users on that very same vlan.
Thanks
