As far as I'm aware, Cisco "does not offer" any support to used Cisco equipment purchased from non-authorized resellers.
For example, if the appliance was purchased on e-bay (or other non-authorized sites/resellers), then there is no way to purchase any maintenance contract with Cisco.
Maintenance contract will be between the buyer and the seller only.
