Question about inserting line cards into a 4507

I have a 4507r (new chassis) with dula sups (WS-X4515 sup IV) and two gig line cards (WS-X4548-GB-R45). I want to add two new (older cards) line cards (WS-X4148-RJ). With this combination work? Can the cards be hot inserted without issues? Any advice?

Hi Daqats,

Depends on which code you are running line cards will be supportd and becaue you are already running WS-X4548-GB-R45 which need minimum 12.1(19)EW code your old cards 4148 will surely work as they need 12.1(8a)EW code minimum to be supported so no need to worry.

Also all the line cards are hot swappable means can be hot inserted without any issues.
