question on ECMP

Hi,

I've heard about ECMP used for example when having equal path to destination with ospf.

Checking on cisco site, there's only documentation

for CSS.

Is this also applied on router or not (thought normally load-balance rule depends on "switching path" : process, fast or cef) ?

Thanks in advance

You don't have to "enable" ECMP. It's on by default (in "address" mode). All you have to do is have more than one equal-cost route from the same source (protocol). So if you configure two static default routes with the same administrative distance, you're doing ECMP.
