redirecting traffic for a specific port

Hello,

I need to redirect all pop3 traffic bound for a box on a public IP to another box on a public ip in the same subnet. Both boxes are plugged in to the same switch that is connected to a 2600 series router.

You should be able to just put a static route towards the old address via the new address from the router. The problem is going to be more on the host side--how do you get it to answer using the ip address of the old address?
