RIP Request and Reply will be periodic or event-triggered ?

If rip router losses the best route, it will send "RIP Request" .

This RIP Request will be sent , after one period time or immediately ?

And, RIP Reply will be sent , after one period time or immediately ?

If you use the "ip rip triggered" interface configuration command (first in 12.0(1)T), it will be sent immediately. The other end will reply immediately as well. Response and request packets must be acknowledged by other end or the request/response will be re-sent. RFC 2091 discusses triggered RIP.

"Debug ip rip events" will show this.
