Router reboots automatically and goes to rommon mode

Hi all,

We are having Cisco 2611 router.

Recently the flash got corrupted.

We uploaded the IOS and it was booting properly.

Now the problem is that at times it automatically reboots and goes to rommon mode.

Please let me know what could be the problem.

Whats your config register setting ?

After a reboot, what does a show version output reveal. I am interested in what it shows "System restarted by XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

where XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX could vary due to various reasons. It could be "power-on", "Software-forced crash", "Illegal Opcode operation" etc...
