Hello,
My Name is chirag pandya,i have one 7513 router which has two RSP, can i configure it as load sharing between 2 RSP??

HA basically makes sure that the standby RSP takes over as soon as the primary fails. Stateful Switch Over (SSO) is used to achieved the highest level of availability. SSO ensures that the protocol sessions (PPP, HDLC, ATM, etc) will not expire therefore reducing the down time to its bear minimum.

Only one RSP can be active at any given time. In most cases the line cards are doing forwarding. No loadsharing is possible.

Hello Hritter,
Thnx for your reply,I am very impressed with this new event NETPRO on cisco's site.It has been given me knowledge about the diffrent networks.Cisco site is the place where i get the right solutions of my major problems which i am facing in my live network and it will help me in my fatal problems.
It is proude for me when i talked directly with Cisco's CCIE engineers and they increese my knowledge.
My Heartly thx to Cisco site and all the Engineers who giving the support 24 ours.
Sir, i have 1 more query about this same topic of RSP.
Sir please tell me the majore diffrence between RSP Load sharing and highe system availibility.
