Has anyone made use of the Service Assurance Agent in IOS? Would Netflow be a better tool to measure network round trip times from a remote location to application in a central office?

In order to monitor latency, you need to use SAA. NetFlow will give you layer-3 and 4 utilization statistics, but will not give you round-trip latency. CiscoWorks IPM makes configuring SAA a breeze, but most network monitoring tools will collect SAA statistics.
