Series 800 factory default restore

Hi,

I'm having trouble with an 800 series router. Work has borrowed it to me so i can practice for my icnd2 exam. Only problem is it has a username and password on it. I have been told i can wipe the device and start over. but i cant get in to the user mode or any mode's as i don't have the user name and password.

Is there a way of resetting the router back to factory defaults with out logging in to it?

What exact model of the 800?  In some 800 ISR G1/G2 routers, there is a "reset" button at the back.
