Hello.

We have some problem with one of our switch.

If we power on our Cisco WS-C3750E-48TD-E v03 with PowerSupply C3K-PWR-265WAC (also we tried C3K-PWR-750WAC)

switch LEDs SYST and SPEED are GREEN. Other LEDs are Off. No any Amber LEDs,

but switch could not start and does not answer via Consle port.

Photo of switch has been attached.

Please, we need some advice (please, if we have mistake, submit our post to correctly community)

Thank you.

If it's not responding to Console then someone must've change the settings on the console port.

hello

thank you for your answer.

during the day we will try to connect with different console port settings.

we can not reset the switch, we tring to hold MODE button approximately 3 sec and 7 sec...no reaction.

I think problem in boot controller. Where i can find the ROM (POST+Bootstrap+ROMMON+Mini-IOS) for boot microcontroller (i can write boot to the controller directly via programmer)?

Infoprohostkg,

If the syst led is green that's mean the switch is working normally. If it's not responding to console port that's not indicates failure of the device boot.

You are using serial to consol cable ? or console to USB port cable?

hello.

thank you for your answer.

we are using console cable with standard settings (9600baud, no parity, flowcontrol No)

also we have Cisco 3750G, during the boot Cisco 3750G Leds of ports up and down (checking)

in case with WS-C3750E-48TD-E, only two leds are green and no any checks (LEDs green-off switching) during the boot.

also we tried to reset switch to defaults (via MODE button), but when we are pressing and releasing the MODE button - switch has no any reaction in (LED status not changing).

also SYST and SPEED LEDs status are SOLID green (not blinking) when we power on the switch.

I think problem in boot controller. Where i can find the ROM (POST+Bootstrap+ROMMON+Mini-IOS) for boot microcontroller (i can write boot to the controller directly via programmer)?

Hello.

Thank you for your answer.

If i will have console port connection, i can recovery the switch.

2 years ago, we had also broken Cisco 3550, and in console mode show us problem with port number 4. We bought chip and replace it.

But in current situation, i haven't console port connection.

No answering from console port to my hyperterminal (i checked all speeds from 9600 to 115200)

I am seeking boot rom...

What happens as you turn the switch on?  It should take about 2-5 minutes to run the startup sequence; and during that time there should be multiple LED changes.

Do all the port LED's flash on (probably green), then (a minute later) green or amber, then all go out except for the ones with devices connected?

no blinking, no flash....only solid green (speed and syst - see the picture).

no any changes after 1,3 or 10 minutes after power one, syst and speed still solid green.
