Hi,
I have a 3640 running IOS 12.3. I have one VWIC-2MFT-T1-DI in the router. I'm trying to connect to two seperate T1's. I connected the first T1 with controller T1 0/0 fine. I'm trying to use the second controller but i don't get the "channel-group" command. Can anyone suggest anything? Here's what I have so far....
!
controller T1 0/0
framing esf
linecode b8zs
channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24 speed 64

Unless you have the vWIC on a NM-2FE-2W (or similar NM with a FE port) you wont be able to get both ports configured with channel-group command. I guess you have this VWIC on a NM with Ethernet (10BaseT) port ?

You can use the NM-2W also.

yeah, i just found that myself.
NM-1E2W, NM-1E1R2W, and NM-2E2W
The Cisco 3600 NM-1E2W, NM-1E1R2W, and NM-2E2W support one serial channel group per WIC slot, thus the VWIC-2MFT-T1 is not supported. The VWIC-2MFT-T1-DI is supported, but with one serial channel group.
DOH! Thanks for your response though. and it is with the ethernet.
