Slow client connection to CWLMS server

There are a few clients that take an interminable time to connect to the LMS server and to subsequently load new menus etc. All clients are more than the required spec and the majority of the workstations in the network connect without any problem - the problem is obviously client based, but has anyone seen this before? and if so did any one manage to resolve it? I can see no difference between those clients that work and those that don't!

Make sure you setup the browser properly see

A proxy server between CiscoWorks (in the case LMS) and the client can decrease performance too. Setup the JavaPlugin to do not use the browser settings.
