I am just beginning to do software upgrades and I am starting with our Catalyst 4003 and 4006 switches. I have done everything according to the Cisco book, including the prepend statement. Whenever I restart the switch, the old version still comes up. I do not want to do anything to cause a fatal error. Has anyone encountered and resolved a similar situation?
