Hi ,

I am Raju from Deltatec solutions chennai.

I am looking out for a solution for Local area network.

The Requirement goes as this..

This particular customer is having two buildings .. with 70 meteres

distance

the main building have 7 floors and and this particular client is having

offices in main buiding 2 floor and main buiding 7 th floor and

annexure buiding he is having office in 2nd fllor.

The existing network is as follows

The second floor has the main server room and he have all hubs and cat 5

cable and have about 100 points and this is connected to the annexure

through copper and the annexure has intel 510 T Switches. the number of

points in annexure building is 50 and he has two intel 510 T 10/100

stackble switch.

>From the second floor a cat 5 cable connects to the 7 th floor for the

access of internet through RF TOWER. The distance is 50 meteres ie from

second floor to 7 th flloor and the 7 th floor had 50 points using intel

510 T

switches.

Now the client wants to go for a fibre to the annexure second floor and

he wants the existing hubs to be replaced with cisco switches.

He wants stacking solution or cascading .. Also the other end fibre

terminates in Intel 510 T AND THE MAIN BUIDING WILL BE CISCO. Will it be

compatible.. what switches we can position him

The main server room has 100 points can be expanded to 200 ..Keeping in

mind of the future scalbility we have to position a solution.

Can u help me in giving a variety of solution..

I intend to propose Cisco 2950 T AND 3524 Mxl...

Suggest me a cost effective solution

waiting for your solution at the earliest

THANKS AND REGARDS
