To All,
An interesting topic came up at work the other day. Is there a limit to the number of static routes that can be held in a Cisco router? Part of our network uses a lot of static routing for security purposes. I'm thinking memory utilization, etc.
Is there a limit on how many the IOS can hold? I don't think there is and I can't find any documentation that says there is.
Thanks.

I don't believe that there is a real limit on static routes. You may, however, hit the wall on the size of your config file in NVRAM.

there is no manual limitaion in setting the static routes. You can set until you are running out of any space problem.

there is no hardcoded limit but you will be limited by the size of the nvram.
