Can any one tell me in detail when i configure a router interface with ip address 192.168.10.62. 255.255.255.192 why we recieve the bad mask /26?

Hi
It is a valid IP address, so it should work, now do you have enabled ip classless (it is enabled by default but it could be disabled) on your layer 3 device?

Are you sure the subnet does not overlap with one that is already configured on another interface?
