Supported speed of WIC 2A/S and 2T

I have a doubt related to the speed supported by WIC 2A/S and 2T. The technical documentation shows that the first one supports up to 128Kbps sync and 115.2Kbps assync communications on each serial while the 2T supports 2Mbps on each port. We have a 1Mbps link connected to a WIC 2A/S serial working fine.

Is the documentation related to a serial working as DCE? Or can we conclude it's working at 128Kbps even receiving a 1Mbps signal?

Thanks,

I think that you have to distinguish here between "works" and "supported". I have also used an NM-8A/S above its supported speed. It might work, but the day it stops working you cannot complain to Cisco.

I guess that if you are running it as DCE, it will not allow you to overclock. But as DTE, they cannot control the clock. If it works, fine. If it doesn't, no support.
