I have a doubt related to the speed supported by WIC 2A/S and 2T. The technical documentation shows that the first one supports up to 128Kbps sync and 115.2Kbps assync communications on each serial while the 2T supports 2Mbps on each port. We have a 1Mbps link connected to a WIC 2A/S serial working fine.
Is the documentation related to a serial working as DCE? Or can we conclude it's working at 128Kbps even receiving a 1Mbps signal?

WIC 2T can support one port at 8 Mbps when used in NM-1FE1R2W, NM-1FE2W, NM-2FE2W, or NM-2W or 2600 chassis WIC slots. This depends upon the NM module used as and the number of ports that can cross 2Mbps limit depends on the router used. Basically depends upon the controller and the memory.

The quoted speed of the 2A/S is the supported speed. It will often work at higher speeds, but it is not supported. It is analogous to overclocking a PC - it works if you are lucky, but if the machine dies the shop will not support it (unless you hide the fact that you were overclocking)! :-)
