TCP Giveups

Having issues with DLSW peer dying. Maybe some of the keepalives are not being processed properly?. Packet output on Serial, and local interface indicates no drops. No buffer failures, missess, very few trims, nothing to be concerned about I would think. There are, though, many Giveups in the "show tcp" stats.... Anyone know what this means?

It means that each time we don't get an ACK there is a retransmit.

However, if we don't retransmit forever,

After a certain time we 'GiveUp' retransmitting.

You should check if the other side is sending the ACK or not.

Use a sniffer trace if necessary.
