tftp broadcasts

We have C2900XL and C3500XL switches and I am seeing tftp brodcasts from the switches on our sniffer.

TFTP Read Request File = network-config

Do I have to disable TFTP on the switch or is something configured wrong? Does this have to do with the configuration of the DHCP server?

Default setting for some switches is to broadcast through the network for their config file. This is contolled by the configuration registry. If you do a sho ver on your switch, the conf reg value will be displayed near the bottom. Post this, and we can check to see if this is the problem.

The conf reg appears correct. I would check the caveats of the code you are using/going to use to determine whether or not this is a reported issue.
