Hi all

To change DFM default behavior regarding unmanaged elements

(so they are managed by default. access ports for instance)

I need to create a new group in Polling and Threshold Console.

The Matching criteria for this group will be IsManaged=true

Type = *ETHER*|*CSMACD

After configure the new group I adding a new device.

But all the access-port from this device are stays in IsManage=false state.

What can I do to change the status for all the port from a specific device to manage?

I know that I can manage each port individually by right-click manage.

Thanks in advance

David

Take a look through the following link for working with the DFM inventory:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/dfm/dfm1_0/user/invent.htm#xtocid11

Thank you for replying,

I am familiar with the DFM inventory.

The problem is that the option to change

The default behavior of the access port (not manage)

Not working.

Thanks anyway.
