Preparing a home study lab I have 2 2502 routers with the token ring interfaces. These routers have DB-9 ports labeled token ring and I would like to connect them back to back. No switch, MAU or other device (unless neccessary).
What do I have to do?

Take a look at http://www.sync.com/PDFs/4200igpc.pdf for the pinout for STP token ring.
Simply cross the transmit to receive pins.
